The mission of Lacey Historical Museum is to collect, interpret and to display the historical materials. This provides details of the history of Lacey city in its development periods. This museum is located in an historic structure which was originally built in 1926. It was built by Fred Russell as a private residence. The museum opened to the public in 1981 and has local history utensils, artifacts, furnishings and photographs.
