Tourist Guide Langley

Langley is situated in Island County in Washington, USA. Popularly known as ‘Langley by the Sea’, the waterfront city is located on Whidbey Island and covers an area of 2.1 sq km.

Langley was founded by Jacob Anthes in the 1800s and was incorporated in 1913. Today, the city consists of a small community of around 1,000, with tourism as one of the major contributors to the economy.

The city has a mild climate with temperatures moderated by the surrounding water. Summers are warm with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 12°C. Winters are mild with temperatures varying between 8°C and 1°C.

Overlooking the Cascade Mountains and the waters of Saratoga Passage, Langley is surrounded by forests. The Seawall Park has easy access to a stretch of beach, making it a delightful vacation spot. The walkways are lined with historic buildings, parks and a small marina.
