The city of Ocean Shores is situated in Grays Harbor County in Washington, USA. Located on the Point Brown peninsula on the Washington coast, the city covers an area of 31.3 sq km and has a population of around 5,000.
The area was originally used by the Chinook people to store food. The city was declared the ‘Richest Little City’ in 1969.
The city has a marine climate characterized by cool, dry summers and mild, wet winters. Summer temperatures range from 22°C to 12°C, while winter temperatures range from 1°C to 5°C.
The city is blessed with natural coast lines and an inviting climate. Ocean Shores has a rich wildlife as it is a resting point for migratory birds. Whether it’s fishing in Duck Lake, whale watching in Westport or beachcombing in the North Jetty, the city offers ample recreational activities.
