Port Angeles is a quiet town, that is, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
If you have a cat or dog, you will not be inconvenienced, as the town and its surroundings are pretty pet-friendly. Many of the streets in the city display sculptures and flower arts.
The Tourist Information Center is a good place to start for outsiders. If you plan on climbing the Ridge, it is advisable to bring a coat with you as it can get windy and cold at any time of the year.
The Olympian park is amongst the famous attraction of the town and it should be on your must-visit list.
Kayaking is available for the water-sport enthusiasts and although suitable apparel is available on rental basis, it would probably be costlier than if you buy it yourself from home.
