Five miles towards the East of Tacoma in Pierce County, Washington, there exists a city called as Puyallup. The neighbors of Puyallup are as follows – towards the East is Alderton, towards the Southeast is Orting and McMillin, towards the South is Graham, towards the West is Midland and Summit, towards the Northwest is Tacoma, towards the North is Edgewood and Fife and towards the Northeast is Sumner. Puyallup has a gross area of 12.2 square miles and out of these 12.1 square miles is made up of land while the remnant 0.1 square mile is water. The Pullayup River estuary makes up this water part.
As per the 2008 census, the population of Puyallup is 36,930.
July and August are the warmest months in Puyallup when the temperature varies from 52 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit. December and January are the coolest months when the temperature alters from 33 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit. The average annual precipitation is 40.4 inches.
