Greenlake offers gravel and asphalt trails, which are side by side and are spread over 4 km.

They can be used for jogging, walking and rollerblading.

The park also has a number of sports fields which can be used for playing soccer, basketball and volleyball. An indoor swimming pool adds to the variety.

Cowen Park is connected with Ravenna Park and they are used mainly as a playground for softball, baseball, tennis and soccer.

Discovery Park is famous for kite-flying and has a beach trail.

Carkeek Park provides good hikes. Kubota Garden mixes the Northwest and Japanese culture for displaying a plant life which is diverse and rich.

Kerry Park provides the most photographic view of Seattle Gasworks Park, which was built on the former city-gas facility and still preserves some pipes and tanks on display.

The hilltop has a sundial on its top and gives a splendid view of the downtown. Woodland Park Zoo boasts of providing a spacious and natural habitat for animals.

The Raptor Show on weekends is particularly famous.
