In 1965, the Museum of Flight offered exhibits on display in a 10,000 square foot space at the Seattle Center. There is some extensive collection of historic photographs, precious papers and books which is used by the scholars for research. In addition to this, the museum has both pure and applied research in aeronautics. The aim of the museum is to educate the public in the history of space and air development, humanities and science.
