The Snohomish Carnegie Library is known as one of the thirty remaining historic Carnegie libraries in Washington State. This library has served the Snohomish city for more than 90 years. It was built in 1910. Its original construction presents the City’s early efforts of the residents and the Carnegie Foundation, which used to fund the libraries throughout the country from 1886 to 1923 for building a new facility. At present, this building is situated within the Snohomish City of National Register Historic District.
