Deception Pass State Park is the most visited state park of Washington. It is well- known for its camping and has a large number of picnic tables complimented by cooking stoves.

Many sheltered and private spots make room for trailers, motor rooms and tents.

Cranberry Lake is a fresh water lake located at the center of the park.

Coupeville is a small town on Whidbey Island which has agricultural lands, and two prominent state parks namely Fort Ebey and Fort Casey.

Fort Ebey provides plenty of camping opportunities and hiking trails.

At the center of park, Lake Pondilla is situated which provides fishing opportunities. Picnic tables are located on the water edges. Fort Casey has ruins from the pre-world era, including one lighthouse.

Oak Harbor is the largest town of the island harboring a Dutch heritage. It has a Naval Air Base and a large city park.
