Dolly Sods Wilderness is located on the cheat Potomac Ranger District in the Monongahela National Forest. The place came in the list of National wilderness Preservation System in the year 1975. With its beautiful landscape this forest acquires an area of 10,215 acres. The trails over here may not have as they just vanished due to change in weather conditions. The chunks of old glasses , metal, rail road spikes and horse shoes takes one to the insight of the past. If one is lucky enough can view the wild life that includes wild bear, whitetail deer wild turkey and many more.
