Point Pleasant is a beautiful city which is situated in Mason County in West Virginia. This city is situated at the confluence of the Kanawha and Ohio Rivers. This city is also the county seat of Mason County and the principal city of the Point Pleasant, WV-OH Micropolitan Statistical Area.
The population of Point Pleasant as of 2000 census was 4,637. This city is noted for the Battle of Point Pleasant in 1774. As per the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.1 square miles, of which 2.4 square miles is land and 0.7 square miles is water.
