Ashland is a beautiful city which is situated in the U.S. State of Wisconsin. It is also located mostly in Ashland County and extends to Bayfield County too. Moreover, the city is a port on Lake Superior and is near the head of Chequamegon Bay.
The population of the city as per the 2000 census was 8,620. The city is also located at the junction of U.S. Highway 2 and at the Wisconsin Highway 13. This city was also a filming location for the 1998 movie” A Simple Plan”.
