Tourist Guide Baraboo

Situated in Sauk County in Wisconsin, USA, the city of Baraboo is located along the Baraboo River. Formed as a result of glacial action, it covers an area of 13.7 sq km and has a population of around 12,000.
 
The city has a mild climate during summer with an average temperature of around 18°C. It gets extremely cold in winter with an average temperature of around –9°C.

The city is famous for being the home of Circus World Museum—the former headquarters and winter retreat of the Ringling Brothers Circus. The nearby Baraboo Hills has its scenic beauty on display with an array of unique rocks, animals and plants.

The city has a rich heritage of logging and trapping. Now, it has grown into a bustling commercial town with innumerable tourist attractions like the Devil’s Lake State Park and the International Crane Foundation bird refuge.
