Overall Guide:  Eagle River Derby Track, Kettle Moraine Ranch, McMiller Sports Center,Old World Wisconsin and Scuppernong are some good entertainment venues.
People here also enjoy going for Golf, Fishing and Rafting. The museums here include Carl’s Wood Art Museum and International Snowmobile Racing Hall of Fame.
There is a town close to this place called Rhinelander which is just about 20 miles in the south west direction. This place also has some good tourist spots. A very exciting event that happens here every year is the WI High School Nordic Ski Champions.
This place hosts ... More a lot of events all year long and the locals actively participate in them.
Winter Bow, Valentines Eve Dine and Ski and the 8th Annual Polar Bear Plunge are some other very popular events of this place.

Overall Guide:  Eagle River is located in the northern part of the state of Wisconsin in the USA. This city with a population of approximately 1,400 inhabitants is the administrative centre of Vilas County.
Summers at Eagle River are pleasant with the average daytime temperatures at about 25°C. Maximum rainfall is in the month of August. Winters here are very severe; the average temperature is –18.3°C, and there is heavy snowfall.
Abundant snowfall creates enough snow cover annually for winter sports enthusiasts. In fact, Eagle River has been nicknamed as the Snowmobile Capital ... More of the World. The city lies along a river by the same name; the river is made up of a network of 28 interconnected lakes.
Indians inhabited this area more than 4,500 years ago; it is believed to be the oldest Indian settlement in the state. In 1885 when the town was incorporated, lumberjacks made up the majority of the population.
