Tourist Guide Ephraim:

Ephraim is located in the northern part of the county of Wisconsin in the USA. This village with a population of approximately 350 inhabitants is located at the edge of Lake Michigan.

The village was founded almost 150 years ago by a reverend as a religious community; some of the original structures built at that time are still in use. Today, its beach and the park areas in the region have made it a popular tourist destination. In mid-June a Scandinavian festival called Fyr Bal is held here; bonfires are lit to signify the burning of witches.

Summers in this region are pleasant with the average daytime temperature at 27°C. During winters, the temperature frequently drops below the freezing point with the average minimum being –13°C.
