Tourist Guide Green Bay
The city of Green Bay is located in the northern part of the state of Wisconsin in the USA. The third largest city in the state, Green Bay is especially known for the meat packing and paper industry.
Green Bay experiences a continental climate. July is the warmest month with the average daytime temperature at 28°C. Winters are cold and long with a lot of snow; the minimum temperatures frequently drop as low as –14°C. August gets the maximum rainfall with frequent thunderstorms.
This city with a population of approximately 100,000 inhabitants is located along the Green Bay, an arm of Lake Michigan, and has a fairly busy port.
A trading post was established here more than 350 years ago, making it one of the oldest settlements of America. For a little over two decades the town remained under the control of the British before the Americans took over.
