Kenosha, a county seat of Kenosha County, is located in southeast Wisconsin, United States. It is the fourth largest city in Wisconsin. It is a part of the Chicago Metropolitan Area by the U S Census.It is located at 42º34'56" North 87º50'44" West. The city has an area of 24.0 square miles (62.1 km²) of which 0.2 square miles are water.The city Kenosha had a population of 1, 49,577 as of the 2000 census with 22,539 families residing in the city. The density of the population was 1,512.3 people per Square Mile (583.8/km²). The total housing units were 36,004 at an average density of 1,512.3/sq mi (715.1/km.Kenosha citizens have achieved national and world recognition in a variety of fields such as the field of automotive production and engineering. Kenosha produced millions of automobiles from 1902 to 1988. Kenosha has three important museums such as the Kenosha public museum, the civil war museum and the dinosaurs’ discovery museum.
