The Madison Square Garden is built as a boxing arena and also used for concerts. The current ‘Garden’ is the fourth to bear the name and has a capacity of 20,000. It is home to the New York Rangers ice hockey and the New York Knicks basketball teams. As a city uniquely on an isthmus, Madison is surrounded by 15,429 acres of sparkling lakes and has over 6,000 acres of parkland.
