Tourist Guide Sister Bay
Sister Bay is located in the northern part of the state of Wisconsin in the USA. This town with a population of approximately 880 inhabitants is found along the Green Bay stretch of Lake Michigan.
This small village has become an all-year-round vacation destination for visitors and has earned the distinction of being amongst the top four most visited villages in the state.
Sister Bay enjoys pleasant summers with the average maximum temperatures at 26°C. During winters, the temperatures fluctuate between an average maximum of –3°C and minimum of –13°C. Snowfall in December and January is much higher than the overall country average.
Sister Bay was inhabited by immigrants from Norway in the middle of the nineteenth century. Eventually, two brothers moved here and established a saw mill; soon a community grew and developed around the mill.
