Founded in 1980 the Tate Mineralogical Museum was known as the Tate Earth Science Center and Mineralogical Museum. The museum is located on the campus of the Casper College. It has a repertoire of 3000 odd mineral and fossil specimens. While visiting Wyoming the museum is a must visit because of the learning it imparts to people of all age.
