Cheyenne is the capital of Wyoming, USA. It is the seat of Laramie County and is the most populous city of the state.

The city is located in the heart of the US and is serviced by the Cheyenne Regional Airport. The Denver International Airport, in neighbouring Colorado, caters to international flights. There are shuttle bus services to Cheyenne.

The city is more than 1,800 m above sea level. It experiences summer temperatures of around 20°C–26°C. The winter is accompanied by severe winds reaching 90 or even 115 km per hour and with an average temperature below –1°C.

There are an estimated 56,000 people staying within the city limits. Cheyenne is the cultural and economic hub of the region and has something to offer to all those who visit.
