Glenrock is located in Central Wyoming at the Rocky Mountains foothills. It is nestled along the Deer Creek Tributary System. Glenrock is a town which is thus situated in Converse County in Wyoming. The population as of 2000 census was 2,231.
Glenrock is also rich in history. The Bozeman, Oregon, California Trails, Texas all came along the Platte River and the Deer Creek.
