Harold Jarrard Park is one such site where many of the popular events take place throughout the year. During the summer season, the city experiences a variety of rodeos and other events. There is also the annual Sheepherders Rodeo which is held each July. The Lions Club Rodeo and the Cowgirls Rodeo events are also held in frequent basis during the summer season.
