Fossil Butte National Monument has some of the world’s rarest and unique preserved fossils that could be found in the Wyoming’s cold desert. Fossils of fish, insects, plants, reptiles and some of the mammals can be seen with details about their preservation. The best thing about this center is that they narrate a historical story about the ancient life of the people of this place.
