Fossil County museum displays various exhibits, preservation and interpret materials that have connection to cultural and natural history of this place and Lincoln County. This center also provides educational classes for its visitors coming across the globe. Apart from exhibits there are certain events that take place inside this museum. Some of them are History Festival in the month of March, Campfire Chats in summer months, Oyster Ridge Music Festival in the month of Jul, Wyoming Heritage Auction in the month November and Christmas Program in the month of December.
