The first inhabitant to this place was Dr William Watts who came to Lovell in the year 1920s. He found that roses grow well in this place and started creating rose gardens. And thus this practice became quiet popular in this town and soon the city was filled with rose gardens. If one visits this town during summers, visitors will definitely come to know the reason behind calling this place a Rose City.
Thus with blend of wild life and majestic landscape this place has everything to offer for its visitors.
