The Elkhart Park is located northeast of Pinedale at an approximate distance of 15 miles. The park is accessible through paved road and ends at Trails End Campground which is located at the top of the park. The highest altitude in the park is 9,100 feet. The place is an ideal destination for hikers. The Pole Creek Trail and Long Lake Trail can take hikers into the wilderness.
