Tourist Guide Powell
The Powell city got established in the year 1908 with the opening of its own post office and since then is one of the cities of the state. The city got its name from the well renowned US soldier John Wesley Powell. The Powell city is extremely small in area and the total area comprised by the city is just around 9.3 square kilometers. Though the cit has very less area under its jurisdiction the city is quite populated, especially in the suburban areas of the city. As per the census measured in the year 2000 the town recorded a population of about 5,373 which is increasing at a steady rate. The people in the city are not much into agriculture and prefer working in jobs and businesses. The city also has many wonderful natural sights which are very beautiful and serene. The city has erected many buildings in recent times and some of the artistic architectures in them include the big libraries, educational institutes, museums, art galleries, etc.
