However, Rawlins has two very prominent and nice museums they being the Carbon County Museum and the Wyoming Frontier Prison and Museum.
Going a little towards the South East from Rawlins one shall reach Saratoga around 32 miles and if one goes 87 miles north from Rawlins they shall reach Casper. Both Saratoga and Casper are great places to plan a visit. This place has the Walking event which is conducted on various dates throughout the year and people participate in huge numbers.
