Western Arctic National Parklands is an administrative unit which includes four remote wild parks: Noatak National Preserve, Cape Krusenstern National Monument, Kobuk Valley National Park and Bering Land Bridge National Preserve.
Cape Krusenstern National Monument is a coastal landscape which includes lagoons, tall hills and over a hundred beach ridges. Also, Bering Land Bridge National Preserve is famous for its hot springs.
Kobuk Valley National Park features sand dunes, ancient glaciers and lush vegetation. It consists of a visitor’s centre and various gift and artefact shops.
Home to the national wild and scenic river of Noatak, Noatak National Preserve has a rich variety of flora and fauna and is a designated biosphere reserve.
