Corroboree Park
This park has been shaped like semi-circle. Moreover, it has been associated with the area’s Aboriginal Use prior to settlement by Europeans. The year 1925 witnessed the formation of this park. It comes under ‘heritage registered area’. It’s a ‘registered’ heritage park as well. Corroboree Park has ‘Corroboree Tree’ as its center. It has ‘Ainslie Community Hall’; which is significant from the social point of view. The other things include, a Basketball Court (ashfelt surfaced), along with a petite cricket pitch and children’s playground.
Australian War Memorial
Australian War Memorial can be referred to as national memorial of Australia; dedicated to every member of its ‘armed forces’ as well as ‘supporting organizations’ who had participated or died in wars of ‘Commonwealth of Australia’. A military museum is also enclosed within.
