The Royal Australian Mint is one of the small museums in Canberra. It was established in 1965 to produce Australia’s coinage. This museum is located on the Denison Street in the Deakin district. In this museum visitors can watch the manufacturing of coins from the gallery as all Australian coins are made in this museum.
It produces more than 600 millions coins per year. Due to the refurbishment some of the displays and exhibitions may close.
