The University of Canberra is also known by the names, UC and Australia’s Capital University. Situated in Canberra, the university has around 11,000 students and over 800 staff members.
Founded in 1967, in 2008, it celebrated its 40th anniversary. The campus is spread in an area of 290 acres and is situated in the suburb of Bruce. This university was one of the 9 universities recognized by the Australian government in 2006 for its high achievement in teaching and learning.
