Located on the corner of Franklin Street and Flinders Way, the Manuka Plaza in South Canberra is one of the most notable shopping centres in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The mixed-use property includes a 24-hour supermarket, several dozen smaller  specialty shops and other retailers, fast food restaurants, 60 residential units, six professional office suites and a parking deck.

Completed in 2002, Manuka Plaza was the South Canberra area’s first large-scale shopping destination and today includes high-end clothing retailers, decorative art shops, traditional sit-down restaurants, relaxing alfresco cafés and fast food chains like McDonald’s and Subway, among other stores and eateries.

Manuka’s interior and exterior design calls to mind the shopping centres of the early to mid 20th century and is just a five-minute walk from Kingston Foreshore, which is also reminiscent of yesteryear.
