Tourist Guide Forrest
Forrest is very small in size and also contains tiny settlements of people but what makes it special is that it has a railway station on the longest stretch of straight rail in the world that is owned by Trans-Australian Railway. This town is named in the memory of Sir John Forrest, an explorer.
Forrest is a suburb present in the Shire of Mudaring. Forrest is not only connected by rail but it is also linked to the Great Eastern Highway present to its north. To the south of Forrest lies the John Forrest National Park which is a structure of national importance. Forrest enjoys a very pleasant climate which is very well suitable for the needs of the people. The days are warm and the evenings are medium cool. As this is a small place, the population here is scarce.
