Attractions
Sydney is home to world-known attractions like the beautiful Opera House, the Harbour Bridge (the world’s largest steel arch bridge which also offers bridge-climbing adventures) and Sydney Symphony (the country’s biggest and busiest orchestra). The Snowy Mountains are open for skiing for around five months of the year, while excellent views are available at McWilliams Mount Pleasant, a historic winery set up in 1921 atop a slope of the Brockenback range. Don’t forget to visit Jenolan Caves and Bondi Beach.
Early March sees Gosford host the tasty Chilli Festival, while Griffith’s La Festa celebrates the city’s cultural diversity with international music and cuisine. Old Italian traditions come alive at the end of March with a Blessing of the Fleet Festival at Ulladulla, while equal attention is given to the pulsating Country Music Festival at Tamworth.
