The Cape Byron Marine Park is home to many local marine habitats which include a range of sheltered sandy beaches, rocky reefs, small rocky islands and also to a variety of sandy seabed habitats. The marine life has lots of species like dolphins, fish, invertebrates and such sea creatures. This marine park is also a multiple use marine park and includes some protected areas where collecting fish and fishing are strictly prohibited.
