Cronulla Beach is a well- known beach in Sydney.
This is a patrolled beach located across Bate Bay.
The beach has two buildings namely, Cronulla Lifesaving Club and Cronulla Pavilion.
A magnificent sandy beach and crystal clear blue water are the key features of the beach area. This is one of the few beaches in the world where rock pools are built on the beach.
These pools facilitate the visitors to enjoy swimming without entering into sea water.
Even kids can safely swim in these shallow pools. This is one of the ideal places to enjoy surfing.
Visitors can indulge in several water sport and beach activities like playing volleyball and soaking up the sun.
Nature lovers can visit Cronulla Park. It is located behind the beach.
The dangerous reef called Shark Island is situated off Cronulla Beach. Adventure loving visitors can participate in the "Shark Island Challenge", which is held annually.
