Sydney Harbour National Park is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The Sydney Harbour National Park consists of several islands and foreshore areas around Sydney. The topography is dominated by the Sydney plateau, steep hills and rivers.
The vegetation consists of heath lands, woodlands and eucalypt forests, and the park is home to diverse wildlife such as pelicans, penguins, foxes and seals.
Many of the park’s walking tracks such as Fairfax Walk, along the sea, and Hermitage Foreshore Track, through the bush lands, are extremely scenic. Bradleys Head is a great lookout spot. The reef around Nielsen Park is popular for scuba diving and Washaway Beach is generally used for swimming. Visitors head to Rodd Island for camping and Clark Island is popular for picnicking. Make sure to take ferry tours of Fort Denison.
