The town of Alice Springs is the second largest in the Northern Territory of Australia and is simply known as “Alice” or known as “the Alice”.

The population of the town is 26,486.

Alice Springs is at an equal distance from Adelaide and Darwin and almost near the Geographical center of Australia.

The climate of Alice springs hot and dry throughout the year with very cold nights in the winters during July/August.

The city has a number of festivals and events scheduled during the year so tourists can plan their holiday to coincide with these like the Finke Desert Race, Camel Cup tournament or Alice Springs Beanie Festival.

The city has many trendy shopping centers, dining facilities providing a perfect starting point from where tourists can visit natural wonders which include Uluru and get to know more about the local Arrernte Aboriginal tribal groups who inhabited the place for more than 20,000 years.
