The Kakadu National Park is located in the Northern Territory of Australia. Consisting of river systems, landforms, wildlife and vegetation, the park is a significant cultural and natural attraction of the region. With beautiful waterfalls, gorges and dramatic landscapes, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and draws millions of visitors.
The Maguk Falls, Gunlom Falls, Twin Falls and Jim Jim Falls are the most popular falls while the flora and fauna is equally magnificent. About 1,600 plant species, 60 mammal species and over 280 species of birds are housed in the woodlands.
Two of the best examples of aboriginal rock art, the sites of Nourlangie and Ubirr are the most visited locations in the park. Also, the Yellow Water Billabong, Cooinda, Mamukala Wetlands and Anbangbang Billabong are exciting wildlife regions in the park.
