Tourist Guide Kakadu National Park
Kakadu National Park is located in the Alligator Rivers Region of Northern Territory of Australia about 171 km to the southeast of Darwin.
The park covers an area of 1,98, 400 ha and spreading over 200 kilometers from the north to south and about 100kilometer from west to east.
The climate in the park is usually monsoonal and is characterized by mainly two chief seasons which is dry season and rain season. Dry season lasts from April/May to September and it is quite uncomfortable during October to December with high humidity and temperatures.
The flora of the region is richest in the entire region of northern Australia consisting of over 1,700 plant species as a result of park’s geological, habitat and landform diversity and variety.
The amazing diversity of environments of Kakadu National Park gives rise to a large variety of animals majority of them have adapted to the habitat.
