Renner Springs is an important tourist area of Stuart Highway that is situated 820 km away from Darwin and 662 km away from Alice Springs. It is 161 km northward of Tennant Creek and is popularly called as 'The Heart of the Beef Country'. This place was named after Dr Renner who dispensed medical advice to the team.
