Uluru
This is Australia’s famous natural features and is the large domed rock which has an iconic status in the entire continent. The view is spectacular and cannot be described in words when tourists stand in front of Uluru and witness the gigantic bulk above a flat plain. The color of the rock can see a dramatic change with its usual terracotta color changing into blue or violet during sunset and flaming red color in the morning when sun rises behind it.
The Cultural Centre
This center was built in the year 1995 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Handover a process by which the land was returned by to its traditional owners. This center plays a host to various aboriginal creation stories with numerous articles on the history of Pitjantjara. Tourists can buy local arts and souvenirs from the local stores and can also enjoy trekking in this area.
