Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is situated in the Brisbane village. It was established in 1927 and is famous as the world's former and biggest Koala sanctuary that houses a number of Koalas. The access to the sanctuary is by a road as well as through the Brisbane River. Koalas are handed over to the visitors for sometime and they are charged for it. There are also many other types of animals that can be found here.
