Cunnamulla is a small town, which is situated on the Warrego River. The exact location of the town is in the south west part of Queensland in the Australian continent. It is 206 kilometers away from the southern direction of Charleville, and 750 kilometers away from the state capital Brisbane on the west. Mitchell Highway and Balonne Highway intersection are at the center of Cunnamulla. Cunnamulla had a population of 1,217 according to the 2006 census. Cunnamulla is considered as the administrative centre for the Paroo Shire, and some of the other areas. It covers an area of 47617 square kilometers approximately. Wool, hospitality industry, and pig and kangaroo hunting are the major industrious activities in Cunnamulla. The Cunnamulla town has itself started a coach stop for Cobb and Co coaches. The native community of Cunnamulla suffers from a high level of domestic violence, which was reported by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Task Force on Violence.
