Emu Park is located to the south of Yeppon of Queensland in Australia.

 This town is also one of the favorite destinations among tourists with features such as fishing, boating and neat and clean beaches.

This small town was founded by Captain James Cook in the year 1770. In the year 1860 the Jardan family came here and established cattle grazing. The township was established in the year in 1870s when the people of Rockhampton came here and built houses especially holiday houses overlooking the beaches.

This place is also the home of famous Singing Ship Monument. This place overlooks the islands of Keppel Bay that includes Keppel Island. Keppel Island is near to this place and also a favorite destination among tourists. One can also spend the whole day in this place to get some solitude away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The population of this place is 2967 according to 2000 census.
