Bird sanctuary and a national park of 27 km², forts of Second World War are famous tourist attractions of the island. You can also see several resorts and hotels in and around the island, which provides all sorts of services. The island is also encircled by maritime park waters. Fishing is banned in several bays of the island. But limited line angling is permitted at yellow zones. Open 8.30am–5pm Monday–Friday, except public holidays and Christmas to New Year.
