Nambour is located in the south east of Queensland in Australia about 101 kilometers to the north of Brisbane.
The present palce was first inhabited by Mathew Caroll. At that time the town was known as Petrie’s Creek. The meaning of the present name is red flowering tea tree or naamba in Aboriginal. Earlier the development of railway has contributed much to the growth of economy in this area. Apart from this there are many sugar mills and sugar industries, cultivation of tropical fruit that has also helped in the growth of this place.
With its beautiful landscape this place attracts tourist around the year. The people over here are famous for their warm hospitality. Thus with the blend of contemporary and traditional culture this place is perfect to make vacation a memorable one.
