Port Douglas is a town which is situated in Far North of Queensland in Australia. It is around 70 kilometers to the north side of Cairns. In 2006, the population of this town was 948 residents. The tourists come to this town during the peak tourism season, which is from May to September. There is the festival of Port Douglas carnival around the end of May for 10 days and the Footprints Music Festival of 2 weekends in October which attracts many tourists.
